PROGRAMME CATEGORIES

This category of students are the regular students who completed the Junior High School are been placed and enrolled through the free SHS System (Placement System) .Classes begins from 7:30 am to 2:30pm for the morning session

These are Part time students who matured i.e Apprentices and master craftsmen as well as unemployed youth and JHS graduates who completed some years ago but  desire to further their Education in their area of TVET and acquire basic skills in respective trades offered at the centre. This category of students are fee Paying Students. Classes for afternoon session begins from 2:30 pm and ends at 7:30pm

These are special training programmes for personnel for the various Industries. This programme is designed to fit industrial needs. At the request of any industrial establishment or organization or any employer, whether in the public or private sector, a special course based on the needs of that organization is organized at the Centre. The duration for such courses normally depends upon the skills and needs specified.  Courses, which require highly specialized instructors for groups of people, which can be brought together for various lengths of time, are available under this programme. There are no rigid entry requirement options outside those determined by the requesting organizations.  For the past two and half decades, the Centre has engaged in customized training programmes for over 22 Ghanaian industrial establishments. 

This is a Programme for Secondary and Technical School leavers. Courses offered under this programme are Business Systems Technician (Office Machines Servicing) Radio/ Television Electronics, Industrial Maintenance and Construction Technician Course.

ENTRY REQUIREMENT

Applicant Must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age;
  • Possess G.C.E. ‘O’ Level / Certificate II/ SSSCE with credit in Mathematics, Physics, English or Engineering Science and Technical Drawing;
  • Advanced Certificate in Mechanics or Electricity
  • Technician Part 1 Certificate in Mechanical of Electrical Engineering
  • Radio Mechanics
  • Telecommunication Part 1 & 2
